Stevie Newall.
He/him.
A queer artist based in Dundee.
I'm an Illustration student at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, Dundee University with a background in Fashion and Textiles. My work and inspiration can come from anywhere and anything. Having studied Textiles at Cardonald College in Glasgow, I came out with a strong print background and created my gender fluid clothing brand Dikkoglimmer in 2016. Ending the brand in 2019, I now focus on illustrating and involving my multi-disciplinary skills to create.

My artwork is a mixture of both analogue and digital, working on and with various medium, colours and scale. Most of my work is autobiographical whether that is using myself, loved ones, characters I've created, mark makings or print. The only way I know how to make art that I am proud of is through my own journey.
